Outstanding mare More Joyous took her prizemoney to nearly $4 million when she collected her seventh Group One win in the Doncaster Mile at Randwick on Saturday.
The Gai Waterhouse-trained five-year-old, perfectly ridden by Nash Rawiller, enjoyed the run of the race in the 1600m feature and held out the fast-finishing Shoot Out who was gallant in defeat.

Yosei was third.
Waterhouse equalled her late father Tommy Smith’s record of seven wins in the Doncaster.
“It’s just such a crowning moment for her,” Rawiller said of the John Singleton-owned More Joyous who took her record to 17 wins from 25 starts.
“It’s certainly one of my best days in racing.
“I just wanted to show how good she is – I didn’t want any excuses.
“It’s all about her today.”
The ebullient Singleton was over the moon after debate had raged all week over whether More Joyous would take her place in the field following Sydney’s big wet.
“Joy to the world mate, joy to the world,” he said.
“It’s been a wonderful ride with his horse.
“She is just a freak.
“He (Rawiller) is a freak.
“And Gai is a genius – imagine what racing would be without her.
